 Acquisition Support Positions


This position provides acquisition process management support to various Federal Agencies in the continental United States. Work includes supporting the full range of contracting processes supporting large contract requirements, the purchase card program, interagency agreements, and simplified acquisitions. Work performed may involves pre-award activities including supporting the development of statement of work documents and requirements packages, acquisition strategy support, cost estimates, market research, solicitation preparation, and preparing required FAR and FAR Supplement documents; award support includes assistance with evaluation criteria, source selection plans, price and cost analysis, and award documents; post-award support includes assistance in managing/administering awarded contracts, modifications, task orders, and close outs.

Intermediate and senior level general experience requires independent or work under general direction. Candidate must demonstrate strong oral and written skills, ability to meet deadlines, and ability to work multiple priorities, and work that involved highly detailed written materials.

An Associate's degree or 24 business credit hours is required. Desired is knowledge in Federal Government acquisition processes and procedures; knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR); the ability to work with interdisciplinary functional acquisition teams; oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities involve working under limited direction of a team lead, meeting expectations of the Government contracting officer or manager and the CMA project manager.

Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate by telephone, email, and face to face. Occasional travel may be required. Some weekend or longer than normal 8 hour days may be required for workload surges.
